i joined three radical forms of organizations or associates of mine have inquired, before today, requiring explanation and history, my resume:

the first,

believed in costs, benefit
and analysis of current climate
i slept through the board meetings
and had my deepest hallucinations
while an i.t. guy crept
amongst men
playing cards, decks as spreadsheets
cigars and shit
each required a c minus
in calculus

it is what it is

but before, the second

i dreamt of nothingness
only hate pressured me outward
was required sex with teenagers
and incessant list making
exercises in redundancies yet
requests;
be more coherent,
their nerves were shot
due to constant judgement


but before it all, the third

the third was as meaningless as the discovered self
an arbitrary distinction made between communities and communities
that i make as well,

but only to write

so,
i am together now
insistent in force
only a personification of literary merit
